Northandsouth (IRE) 10 ch g Spadoun (FR) - Ennel Lady (IRE) (Erin's Hope) (top left) Can be headstrong. Has had a few different trainers throughout his career plus many problems and hasn't really looked like he is ready to win for his present yard so far! So well handicapped but not sure he can take advantage of it.

Wells Gold (IRE) 9 b g Gold Well - Exit Baby (IRE) (Exit To Nowhere (USA)) (top right) Another that has suffered with a leg problem. Had just the one start for us and definitely retains ability. Won't be back until the middle of 2021.

Accompanied (USA) 4 b g Distorted Humour (USA) - Unaccompanied (IRE) (Danehill Dancer (IRE))

Bought at Tattersalls HIT sale and out of a brilliant mare. Just had the one start for Dermot Weld on bad ground and looks like he should stay well. He will probably go straight over hurdles

Durlington (Fr) 7 ch g Montmartre (FR) - Dalyonne (FR) (Trempolino) (middle right) Bought for £3000 at Doncaster in 2018.

We gave him a couple of runs to get him a handicap mark (given 84) but in all honesty, the second of those was less promising than the first. Looks as though he will need a trip and a galloping course but he does jump for fun.

Muchison River 6 b g Medicean - Free Offer (Generous (IRE)) (bottom left) Won over hurdles for his previous handler and another that is on his holiday's owing to leg problems. Might have a go on the flat before he goes back over hurdles some time mid 2020.

Wherewouldyougetit (IRE) 6 b g Molotov (USA) - Matinee Show (IRE) (Carroll House (IRE)) (bottom middle) Irish point to point winner as a four-year-old. Made an excellent start for us when finishing fifth in a Hexham Novice Hurdle that has worked out remarkably well. Failed to build on that but has shown promise over fences subsequently, and just needs to gain confidence in himself.

Eviscerating (IRE) 8 gr g Court Cave (IRE) - Titanic Quarter (IRE) (Turgeon (USA)) (bottom right) Without a doubt the best in the yard. Very big and handsome grey who should make some chaser eventually. Following some surgery, he has had a long break and will start off back over hurdles for the time being and should pay his way wherever he goes.

Stoneford (IRE) 9 b g Beneficial - Hester Hall (IRE) (Saddlers' Hall (IRE)) Came to us via Tony Coyle's yard. Failed to complete for his last trainer and continued that sequence when he made his debut for us at Carlisle this season. He needed the run badly that day but he did stop quickly and it is hoped it was fitness and nothing else. Has always worked well so we live in hope.

Lord Springfield (IRE) 7 ch g Well Chosen - Super Thyne (IRE) (Good Thyne (USA))

Made a sucessful debut for us at Southwell but was given a break following a tame effort at Warwick afterwards. A big horse who will probably be saved until the spring, when he gets some nice ground.

We bought a couple of unbroken three-year-olds and a four-year-old, while under lockdown, from Ireland. One of the three-year-old's - by Morozov - has been turned away to mature while the other, by Hillstar is progressing well. So much so that he could run before the end of the year. The older 'baby', by Frozen Power, might start off in a bumper unless he shows us he has some speed.
